IVF cost in India
IVF in India is provided almost entirely through private clinics, with no general public funding scheme for treatment. Prices are usually quoted per cycle, and international patients are often offered package deals that bundle consultation, monitoring, the procedure and transfer, but medication, PGT, freezing and donor gametes are commonly priced as extras. Because clinics vary widely in what a package actually contains, a lower headline price in one clinic can end up costing more once everything needed is added, so a written breakdown before you commit matters more than the number on a website.
We do not publish an average price for India, because any single figure would be a guess and would go out of date. Use the questions below to get an itemised quote in writing from the clinic itself. Currency here is Indian rupee (INR).

- The dose and type of stimulation medication
- Whether ICSI or PGT is included or added on
- Freezing and storage of eggs or embryos
- How many transfers the package covers
- Whether donor eggs or sperm are used
- Extra monitoring visits if the cycle needs closer tracking

Questions to send the clinic

- 1.Please could you send a full written quote in writing that lists everything included and everything that is billed separately?
- 2.Is medication included in the package price, and if not, roughly what does it usually add?
- 3.Does the package include one transfer only, or does it also cover a frozen transfer if needed?
- 4.What are the storage costs for any spare embryos, and for how long does the package cover storage?
- 5.If donor eggs or sperm are needed, is that priced separately, and what screening is carried out?
- 6.What happens to the price if my cycle is cancelled or has to be changed partway through?
- 7.Is there a coordinator I can contact in writing throughout, and is that service included in the price?
- 8.Can you confirm the clinic's registration and licensing status in India?
