Treatment add-ons
Optional extra procedures offered alongside standard IVF, rated by the HFEA on the strength of evidence that they improve outcomes.
In plain English
These are extras a clinic might offer for a fee, on top of standard IVF, that claim to boost your chances.
Why it matters
The HFEA rates most add-ons as having little or no evidence that they improve live birth rates for most patients, so it's worth asking your clinic what evidence supports one before paying for it.
